Installation:
The QT thread insert is heated to the melting temperature of the plastic.
As a result of the heat transfer upon insertion,the plastic is plasticised for a short
time and flows into the undercut of the thread insert.Upon cooling,a low-stress
interference is realised."

Materials Required:

Ultrasonic thread inserts
Ultrasonic welding machine
Drills and drill bits

Prepare materials:
Clean the area where the insert will be installed.

Drilling:
Drill holes in the material according to the insert specifications.

Insert the insert:
Place the threaded insert into the hole.

Ultrasonic welding:
Use an ultrasonic welding machine to apply ultrasonic energy to the insert, which will melt the surrounding material and form a strong bond.

Cooling:
Allow the material to cool and solidify around the insert.

Press-fit tool or mandrel press
